Request petition sponsorship from our office
Our office regularly sponsors constituent parliamentary petitions, including both paper petitions and e-petitions.
For paper petitions, you may either send us the proposed wording before collecting signatures, or collect signatures first and then submit the completed petition to our office for sponsorship consideration.
For e-petitions, select Vincent Ho as the sponsoring Member of Parliament through the House of Commons e-petitions system.

A parliamentary petition is one of the most direct ways for Canadians to raise an issue with the House of Commons. Petitions allow citizens and residents to call attention to a concern, propose a specific action, and request a response from Parliament or the Government of Canada.
Before starting, review the official House of Commons petition requirements and contact the Clerk of Petitions for questions about wording, format, certification, or the petition process.

Writing a petition:
Before starting, you should be ready to clearly explain the issue, identify the action you are requesting, and confirm who your petition is addressed to.

Created through the House of Commons e-petitions website. After you draft your petition online, you must identify a Member of Parliament to authorize it before it can be published for signatures.
